Senior Net Developer – 794315

Purpose of the position (to be included in Job Posting)

The team is involved in defect solving, CR development, code enhancement tasks (e.g. LINQ to ADO conversions), code merging and database activities during builds, providing additional support in different functional and technical aspects, issue validations and resolutions in case of any showstoppers or issues, maintaining build documentation, innovation for effort/cost reduction and automation.  Each member of the team has a specific role they play in distribution SW as developer, Sr. developer, tester (developer testing), configuration and deployment manager, DBA, etc.

Principal responsibilities (to be included in Job Posting)

·        Preferred knowledge on logistics applications

·        Focus area leads for functional and technical knowledge.

·        Fix issues/defects for .NET apps on front end and back end across focus areas.

·        Implement change requests for both functional and technical enhancements.

·        Address showstoppers or blocking issues on production and staging environments.

·        Provide estimates for change requests.

·        Code review of all deliverables pertaining to respective focus areas.

·        Implement innovation for effort/cost reduction and automation.

·       Maintain unit test code to ensure quality
